The shoe looks great, but a 10.5 (a size I wear in every other Cole Haan shoe) feels about 1/3″ too big and my heel slips a little. A 10 would be too small for me. So be careful when ordering half sizes.

This was the first time I have written a review and the first time I have been disappointed with Zappos. Clearly these are a return which is perfectly fine but the original box must have been destroyed so they crammed a size 13 in a box that was way to small so they are all creased up. Unfortunately these are the last pair.

The shoes were great but they were shipped in a box that was much too big with no packing material or inserts. There was a note inside that said “The original box for this item was damaged in shipping…etc.”. But shipping from where to where? They came from Zappos to me in this box. Consequenty, the shoes were scuffed and creased as if they had been worn. The soles looked new, so I’m guessing it was the shipping. I’m keeping them as there were no more in stock and a little elbow grease and shoe balm took care of most of the scuffing. Bottom line; I like the shoes that much.

Had to return the shoes. Extremely narrow even in the wide version. Had to return, which was easy. Looks like great shoe though.

These are really great so far and just what I was looking for in a business casual shoe. This is the most I’ve spent on a shoe so far but if they last a long time it will really be worth it. They are almost as comfortable as my Nike running shoes which is important because I wear them everyday to work and I walk around quite a but. They are light and yet they appear to be durable and look like a classy dress shoe. I have repeatedly spent about $100 or $110 and have never quite been satisfied with the comfort and durability of these type of shoes. I paid $160 for these and so far I’m very pleased, but I have only had them for a week. However, so far they don’t crease at all along the top like most dress shoes which I like. They look and feel like a modern shoe from up close but probably look like a classic style from afar. If they last for a year, I will be really pleased. Most of my work shoes seem to start to breakdown and lose their shape after 5 or 6 months at most and they are definitely not this comfortable to start with.

I have worn the same size in Cole Haans for years and have several pairs of the zerogrand and other running shoe soled Cole Haans and these in no way fit like the others. They are narrow and the heel is slightly raised just enough to make it noticeable when walking. I recommend trying to get a wide or a half size bigger than what you normally wear in Cole Haan shoes.

Very nice looking shoe. Works well with jeans or chinos. I’ve worn about 6-8 times. I work in a corporate center and walk about 2-3 miles a day. I have noticed a little more wear on the shoe than I would have anticipated and that’s been disappointing. I do notice foot fatigue at the end of the day. I think in an effort to make shoe as light as possible, savings were scarified in terms structure, more durable materials, etc.

3 pairs just came in (Tan java, black, pavement oxford blue), excluding the 2 I bought last year and I must say I am very disappointed with the damage some came with out of the box. These shoes are coming directly from the manufacturer so why are they damaged? Does anyone perform quality control before sending these shoes to the customer? Also, for some reason only the brown pairs arrive with damage. When I include the dress shoes purchased in 2021, I have 3 black and 4 brown (4 arrived damaged). I’m very meticulous about my footwear so imagine what permanently scratched leather looks like with a sheen to it. If my shoes are to be damaged, it should have occurred in the process of me wearing them. Again, an online purchase should come with no faults so there’s no excuse for this in my opinion. If they weren’t needed now, I would have sent them all back. Such a great and comfortable show to be blemished by such poor care on the manufacturer’s side of the fence!!!

I am really enjoying these shoes. They are dressy enough to wear to work (even with a suit) on most days, but almost as comfortable as a gym shoe. The size was my usual. Some folks have said this shoe runs narrow, and I agree, but for me that’s a perfect fit.

I was disappointed and did not fully appreciate it was not a snug good fit until I had worn them several hours. I like the color and the quality.
