I’m pleased with the comfort and fit of these combat boots. I have not worn them all day yet but will tomorrow.

I can’t get over how well-cushioned and comfortable these boots are! I got them on sale, so the price point was excellent. I compared them with similarly styled boots from Fly London and MadeWell. These won out against both of those for style and comfort–despite these being faux leather versus full grain leather on the other pairs. I plan to replace a very worn out pair of La Canadiennes with these and wear them on an upcoming overseas trip. So happy that they’re waterproof, too. Highly recommend!

So unbelievably comfy right out of the box. I wore them walking for about 3 miles soon after I got them and not one area of concern. Great value for the money, too. I compared to several different brands and I think these look and feel better than any I’ve tried (MadeWell, FlyLondon, La Canadienne, & Aquatalia). I’m actually replacing a worn out pair of La Canadienne’s with these, which cost 3.5x as much. Highly recommend.

I actually loved these. Only reason they didn’t work is the heel was maybe a bit higher than I wanted for walking all over Europe. Plus I’m already tall so didn’t need the extra height. Otherwise, super cute, comfy and practical snow shoe.

Cute but couldn’t get either of my feet in them, and it had nothing to do with size. It was how step the angle was.

ended up returning them because it was hard to get my feet into them and then they felt narrower than expected. I don’t have particularly wide or big feet so I’m not sure why they felt so tight. I wore them with regular socks from costco. Since I don’t want to be forced to wear super thin socks in winter just to get my feet into them, I returned them.

Wanted to live these boots, but they were hard to put on even with the zipper and much too tight through the width. Also the synthetic material felt a bit cheap. Sorry to send them back.

Very cute, but waaay too narrow. Had to return.

The seam around the back of the foot (in front of the heel) dug into my foot and I could not get over that. I wanted to love them.

There is no lining. When the leather gets cold, the cold immediately transfers onto your toes. Terrible quality for this otherwise reputable brand. I am so disappointed.

A very practical but still stylish boot. I ended up going with the Madewell’s, but it was a close call for the comfort & traction I was giving up with these boots. The Madewell’s were slightly more slim-looking with a teensy bit more elongated toe box (pointed would be the wrong word, but these Cole Haans were definitely a bit more blunt in the toe giving them a sportier look). I can’t speak enough about the comfort on these, however!

The boots are great and very comfortable the only issue is it is a bit challenging to put on…thank goodness for the zipper and pull tab on back.

Beautuful boots. Only recently have I had problems with too narrow shoes. This one was too narrow unfortunately because they are exactly what i wanted. I couldnt adjust the width with the shoestrings because the toe box was just too narrow. I was able to find another Cole Haan combat boot at Zappos & ordered the Camea II style in C width and they fit better. Both are great boots.

Boot is so narrow and small not able to wear. Have to return

Stiff and cheap feeling which is unlike a Cole Haan shoe. Good style but sadly going back

Wore these to Kawaii Kon because I didn’t think I would do a lot of walking. Parking was full so we had to park a few blocks away. For me, these needed breaking in lol I did end up having a few blisters. I think had I broken these boots in first before walking around in them for 4 hours, my feet would have been okay lol I do agree with another reviewer that these felt stiff at first but now that I’ve worn them out and about more, there’s no stiffness. I don’t recommend wearing thick socks with these boots when you are trying to break them in. Luckily, I had dress socks which are thinner. I did have to loosen the laces a bit which helped. After breaking them in, I was able to wear my comfort socks which are a little thicker than the dress socks. I was thinking of returning them in the beginning because they felt stiff but so glad I didn’t because these are really comfortable to walk in. These boots are really waterproof. Wore them when it rained all day one day. I do recommend getting some non-skid stuff for the bottom of the shoe though. Walking on some smooth surfaces when the ground was wet was pretty scary. Had to walk really slowly so I wouldn’t slip and slide. Considering how much these boots cost, I was a little bit disappointed in that. Most surfaces were okay when wet but to be safe, get the non-skid stuff.

These are very comfortable. Look great and wears well right from the box.

I had read these boots ran narrow, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. My feet are not wide, nor thick, but the boots felt narrow, and even with the zipper unzipped and loosening the laces, they were somewhat difficult to put on (I have a high instep). Once on, the boot (I tried on only one) was tight over the top of my foot. They look nice and was hoping these waterproof boots would work, but had to return them. Thanks goodness for Zappos great return policy! 🙂
