I was hoping for ankle boots that, while very simple and with a low heal, would nevertheless be dressy and sleek enough to wear with black tights and a dress. Alas, these are not they. These were clunkier than I’d expected, not sufficiently shaped (nothing sleek about them), nothing special. Regardless, I might have kept them to wear w/ jeans and a sweater, but ultimately they were too narrow at the toe to be comfortable (even if they’d stretched a bit with wear). Am returning.

The leather on this is very hard and stiff. It hurt at the top of boot when you walk. I was disappointed because I expected Cole Haan to have good quality product but this wasn’t.

Suede is lovely and pretty chocolate color. A little stiff but should loosen up with wear

I wanted to love these, but unfortunately they are disappointing in lots of ways. The leather is very stiff and therefore uncomfrotable, the heel is advertised as 1″ but is closer to 2″, and they run a bit small both in length and width. The search for the perfect pretty low black boot continues!

These are good looking boots made of very nice leather. They were too tight for me; I’ve never considered wearing a wide, but these would need to be wide to fit my feet.

I wish I felt awesome. The boots are a very attractive brown leather. The overall style, which I knew is pretty classic, will never attract attention. Upon 2 wearings, I have not enjoyed the feel. They are stiff at the moment, and I’m hoping that will ease. The insole doesn’t feel cushioned. I will reluctantly keep them, as I have given them a couple of chances out in the world.

These are beautiful boots! They are true to size. My foot is narrow and I thought they fit well. I got 3 pairs and just chose a different pair.

The fit and size was fine but the top of the boot rubbed at the ankle and so they will be returned. Loved the look but not the feel.

Liked the shoe but it is uncomfortable because of the stiff leather that rubs on the ankles as I walk. I don’t think this would resolve with wear.

Worst fitting shoe I’ve ever put on my feet. Everything rubs, heel feels hard as hell, toes were numb after wearing them for 2 hours. Seriously I’ve never been more uncomfortable and my hips and buttock hurt for 2 days after wearing them.
