The heel of these shoes is so tall that it makes walking awkward. The largest complaint I have with this pair of dress shoes is the comfortable factor, they are not comfortable. The material around the ankle that wraps to the front where the laces are literally feels like its just hard plastic pushing into my foot when I walk. I was hoping that these would break in some but its been almost three months and they are the same. They definitely hold up well and don’t need to be shined like my Johnston & Murphy’s but they are also not in the same league of shoe. My toes also feel crowded, especially in my right shoe for some reason. Overall, they met the need I had for a shoe without a hole in the sole (don’t wear leather soles in the winter salt, snowy months), but they are not something I would like to wear long term. I cant wait to get home and take these shoes off most days. Very disappointing! At least they look good.

I exchanged a 10 1/2 my usual size, for a 10 because my feet were sliding in them a bit. They will take a little breaking in, I can tell. My heels hurt a bit the first day I wore them all day, but not too bad, and I’m confident that will improve as the leather softens with time.
They look awesome and I am optimistic they will age well with the full grain leather. My last pair I wore for six or so years, but had lower quality leather and have looked pretty rough the last few years. I’m hopeful I can wear these just as long but they’ll wear better.

Very nice shoes, as expected from Cole Hahn. Wore for several hours for the first time, and no fit issues at all. Quite pleased with that as well as the look. Classic.

I have one big issue. As my photo will illustrate, the actual color is not nearly the same as the color shown on your web site.

I have had these for 2 months and worn them maybe 5 times. First, the right heel started making a popping sound when I walked. Now, both heels make a loud sound. I do not recommend.

I’ve worn these for for 4 years!! I love them and have worn them daily and they’ve only started squeaking now (very heavy use with very little care). I’m buying the same pair right now!!

Love the looks and are well made. However the shoes are not as flexible and kind of hard to break and couldn’t wear them the entire day. I am hoping they will become less stiff after several attempts to wear them the entire day without causing sore feet!

Very comfortable pretty much right out of the box. They work as formal footwear, but also business casual due to the leather looking nice, but not overly glossy. These are exactly what I wanted in a black formal/business casual shoe.

Problem is the rubber heel wears down quickly and the heel can’t be repaired as its hollow and part of a 1 piece sole.
