This is a beautiful shoe for those of us who can no longer wear heels, but need something to wear with slacks in a more “business casual” way. The uppers are real leather, which is pliable. They are NOT made in China, but are made in Vietnam, which is still not the USA, but in these days, is better than China. The arch support is lacking, and for me the heel area is a bit too wide (on a B width) & will require wearing thick socks, but that is normal for me. I have not had a chance to wear them for an extended time yet, so cannot comment on long term comfort.

Normally I fit between 6.5-7. I ordered the 6.5 and my toes hit the end, but the 7s fit great.

Wore these for the second time today and they are just awful. First, I’m wearing a size 8 which is a whole size bigger than what I would normally wear but Cole Haan suggests using your sneaker size to determine the best fit. Length wise they are ok and they are comfortable but my biggest issue with these is how wide they are. I ordered Medium width, like I do with all shoes and these are so loose around my heel. The side walls also bow out when I take a step. It’s as if the opening is too long and wide for feet and the ties don’t stay tied tight and with every step they get looser and looser. I wish I could return these because they are awful! The leather is soft and they are comfortable but because of how loose they are I feel like I’m carrying bricks around on my feet. Ugh!

Leather feels soft. Took a few wears to feel fully comfortable to walk in. Heel height gives good lift.

Beautiful Oxford. Supremely uncomfortable. This is a very narrow shoe, and there is not enough room in the toe area. They were so painful to wear I had to return. This was very disappointing.

Simply the MOST comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Right out of the box and still, months later, this show makes me feel like I can talk a thousand miles! And they look great too. Would buy in every color (if you had any other colors!). And I never write reviews!
