I like these shoes. Bought them to wear with jeans to be little more dressy than casual shoes when I’m at the office. They’ll also go great with dress slacks. These shoes look great and feel great. I’m kind of a shoe fanatic and I notice when other people notice my shoes. Even if they don’t say anything, they notice these. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they’re a little pricey….but, nice shoes usually are.

I bought it in wide, and this is the only dress shoe that fits me comfortably and I can wear it all day at a trade show. I tried to like and wear like Allen Edmonds, but these are just way more comfortable. I am sold on Cole Haans.

Excellent footwear overall. I have a pair of the British Tan/Lava Energy Oxfords. I’ve read horror stories about the alleged fragility of the upper, but that is not my experience. I’m seeking another pair of these Cole Haan Men’s Washington Grand Laser Wingtip Oxfords in a size 16, medium (D) width, in Black or the Marine Blue Gradient/Black.

Cole Haan are my favorite shoes for work and play. They are comfortable and stylish. The newest styles are bold and refreshing. The Washington Grand Laser Wingtip Oxford is an example. I’m glad to see Cole Haan stepping out of their comfort zone to offer more untraditional styles. Keep it up and I will continue to purchase the fines shoes.

I read reviews about people complaining the shoes being slippery. When buying dress shoes with leather sole (or bottoms), it’s a standard recommendation to take your shoes to a shoe repair shop & get rubber soles put on the bottom. Me personally I get rubber sole & rubber taps on the heel of the shoes.
