I loved these boots in the chocolate color and wanted to keep them but they are too small for my 16-inch calves. I wish they would have had some elastic around the top. The footbed was extremely comfortable and the leather is very soft. I am tall, so I was also happy with the shaft height.

Beautiful boot, wish they fit… I rarely have an issue with shoes being too narrow for my size 11M foot but this one was too tight – and I didn’t have socks on when I tried them on out of the box. Sad to send them back, they were exactly the look and sole style I was looking for…

I loved the comfort and soft leather of the Greenwich boot. However, the shaft wasn’t wide enough for my sixteen-inch calves. I am tall, so the height was good but it may not work for a shorter person.

Too tall for short legs. Was hoping for boots to hit just below the knee. These go to the middle of my knees and rub in the back.

I bought the honey color, and there is literally no stretch in the shaft. My left calf is about a 1/4 inch bigger than the right, and the left boot is work to get on. I do not have large calves, either – I wear a regular-sized boot. They are comfortable and look great, but hard to get on.

Cute style but the calves were way too big and made these boots look bizarrely oversized. It didn’t help that they are very tall, hitting the bottom of my kneecap. Will have to return these. They were also a bit tight over my mid-foot and loose at my heel. However, they have decent cushioning and might be comfortable once they stretch out a bit from walking. I’m 5’5″ and ordered size 8.

Theses are so pretty, but unfortunately, like other reviewers, they were too snug on my calf. It’s a shame because I know I would really love these boots if it weren’t for that.

Great tall winter boot! I was looking for a new black running riding boot. I liked the tall boot, waterproof material and rugged soleperfect for a New England winter! I usually wear a 7 1/2 in Cole Haan, but went up to an 8. Very comfortable.

Perfect height! Love how they are tall and hit right under my knee. I read review about the calves being narrow; however, I did not experience that at all. It actually doesn’t go straight up but gets gradually wider. I actually wish it was more narrow at the top I am 5’5 and 130 lbs. My calves are actually rather large. When I wear pants they always rise up over my calves and get stuck. So I guess everyone is built differently. But you can tell these boots are high quality.

These boots are true to size. I’m normally an 8.5 and I bought an 8.5. I read all the reviews complaining about how the leg is too small for their calves and the feet are narrow. If you are not overweight or have extremely muscular or large calves, these boots will be just fine. I am 5’9, 130 lbs, athletic build and I have tons of room in the calf. They slouch a tiny bit at the zipper but I like the look, they aren’t meant to be a super stiff boot. They fit great in the foot as well and are super comfortable from the get go. No breaking in.

I just purchased these boots, I’m a true size 7 not wide and the boots do not go up my leg. Nice looking boot, but unfortunately I will not be able to wear them.
